Beginning at Erickson Woods Forest Preserve, we bike through the wooded Skokie Lagoons and admire the sparkling water on our way to the Botanic Gardens. Upon arriving at Botanic Gardens, we will park our bikes and wander through the many gorgous gardens within this 385 acre sanctuary. While at the Botanic Gardens, you can choose to wander on your own for 45 minutes, or follow one of Kari’s favorite routes. Bring a hearty snack or plan to pick something up to eat, as we will meet together at noon and then make our way back to Erickson Woods.

Please do a quick bike check at home, to make sure your bike is in working order. We ride at approximately 6-8 mph with stops, so we welcome ebikes, but ask that you maintain the same pace to keep the group together.

We are taking advantage of the Botanic Garden’s free admission day, and Trailbound has reserved your entrance ticket.
