What to expect

Wright Woods has 750 acres to buffer us from the suburbs. With the mature oak and maple trees and Des Plaines river, it is a delight to the senses. We will enjoy the morning sparkles on the water, wander through the trees, and listen for the migrating birds.

During the hike, there will be a 15-minute section of the trail that is a silent walk, so that each person can more fully appreciate the sounds of nature.
