


Starved Rock OR Matthiessen State Park, Pick One Day
Starved Rock State Park treats us to cascading waterfalls, sandstone canyons, spring flowers, and being able to stand upon cliffs overlooking the Illinois River. At Matthiessen Park, we will get our feet wet as we rock-hop over the stream and admire 3 waterfalls.
Over two days we will explore 7 miles of terrain, see 10 waterfalls, 9 canyons, 1,000s of spring flowers, and countless memories. We will stay overnight at the historic log-built Starved Rock Lodge. Hot tub, sauna, and large pool included at the Lodge.
Depending upon your choice of day, you will receive information on where to meet for the day.
Registration cost covers:
Two leaders throughout the day, 10:00am - 4:00pm
Guided hikes by experienced, knowledgeable guides.

Registration does not cover:
Hotel at Starved Rock Lodge (Rooms held until Feb. 10th) Please call to reserve room held under Trailbound Trips, April booking. Feel free to use a different hotel for a more economical rate.
